A junior at Georgetown Day School named Tyce has a passion for consent education and supporting survivors. She has dedicated her independent study to creating packages to help heal survivors. Please click here to donate and join us on May 21 for a fundraising event to support these efforts.
Every 98 seconds, an American is sexually assaulted. In Washington, DC alone, there were 366 reported rapes in 2015. These survivors deserve a path to healing as soon as possible. In partnership with PAVE (Promoting Awareness Victim Empowerment), I am creating Love, Care, Heal packages for sexual assault survivors that will be distributed among support service organizations across the District, Maryland, and Virginia. Through this initiative, we will provide a bag of “love, care, and healing” that includes yoga vouchers, a journal, survivor love letters, bubbles (to help survivors remember to take a deep breath and to breathe!), resources, and other tokens to help survivors begin a path of healing.
Thank You, Tyce
